Memories Galore as Bala Bhaskar’s Band enthralls IFFK


Late violinist Bala Bhaskar’s music band ‘Big Band’ performed an instrumental fusion treat at the Tagore theatre, in association with the cultural programmes held at the 23rd International Film Festival of Kerala. The band was formed and owned by Bala Bhaskar. The remarkable performance, took the audience along a trip down the memory lane. The band performed songs composed by the band’s former lead performer who passed away two months back.
The band members Balu, Abhijith, Rejith George, Shibu Samuel, Prasanth, and Sajeev Stanley performed in the concert.

ജൂറി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ 4 ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍

'ഡാര്‍ക്ക് ഈസ് ദ നൈറ്റ്' ന്റെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യ പ്രദര്‍ശനം ടൊറന്റോ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയില്‍ പ്രേക്ഷക പ്രശംസ നേടിയ 'ഡാര്‍ക്ക് ഈസ് ദ നൈറ്റ്' ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 4 ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ജൂറി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കും.ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യ പ്രദര്‍ശനമാകും മേളയില്‍ നടക്കുക. IFFK Closing Ceremony Today (Dec 13)

The 23 rd edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala, after a week of film-viewing experience, will come to an end today (Dec 13) evening. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Closing Ceremony in Nishagandhi Auditorium at 6 PM. A K Balan, Minister for Welfare for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes, Law, Culture and Parliamentary Affairs, will preside over the ceremony. V S Sunil Kumar, Minister for Agriculture will be the Chief Guest. A K Balan will distribute the Media Awards. V S Sivakumar MLA, Kamal, Chairman, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, Bina Paul, Vice Chairperson, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, Mahesh Panju, Secretary, Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, will participate in the ceremony.
