Fantasy horror film 'Tumbbad' will feature at the midnight screening on the opening day of the 23rd International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). The directorial debut by Rahi Anil Barve and Adesh Prasad will be screened in the Nishagandhi auditorium at 12 AM today (Dec 7). The film presents the dramatic suspense that revolves around the ruse of a family which tries to steal a treasure from Hasthar, a demonic being and its subsequent encounter with the same family.The idea of midnight screening was introduced in the previous edition of IFFK. Joko Anwar’s 'Satan’s Slave' was screened last year which was well received by cinephiles.
